We all have a duty to remember those who made sacrifices so that we could live the life we live today, the generation who fought for us in World War II is fast diminishing in numbers and we cannot let their stories die with them.

Our own generation is filled with stories of conflicts such as the Falklands and Afghanistan and these too need to be remembered.

Not all heroes died in conflict, my own Grandfather served in the Royal navy in the Normandy Landings and the North Atlantic Convoys, he lived to be 86 but his story is just as important to tell.
